As covered before , the theology is based on legal justice and an offended God whose anger need pacified because of wrong view of God's Justice and Wrath.

"...The idea has come into the Christian Church from the Papacy, which in turn brought it from paganism which  the only IDEA OF GOD WAS OF A BEING WHOSE WRATH MUST BE APPEASED by a sacrifice.-  PTUK September 21,  1893, page 386.7 - PTUK September 21,  1893, page 386.8

It is the legal justice of Satan. "... In short, Satan has largely succeeded in putting himself IN THE PLACE OF GOD, IN THE MINDS OF MEN". PTUK September 21,  1893, page 387.4

Here are some practices that result from this theology: 

1.  The first result was human sacrifice . 

The highest sacrifice men thought that would APPEASE an angry God was of their own Sons and daughters.  If indeed the sacrifice of bulls pleases him and avert God' judgments , and torturing his son will turn his wrath away from thesinnert, then for meanwhile before the divine son come , human sacrifice would be much better than that beasts eg. goats and sheep... 

This is the backbone of human sacrifice

Jeremiah 19:5

[5]They have built also the high places of Baal, TO BURN THEIR SONS WITH FIRE for BURNT OFFERINGS unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

 This is the idea ..from paganism . Where Deity need blood and suffering of the offender or some other substitute BEFORE forgiveness or some favors can be offered. Other cases the greatest virgins were offered as an appeasement . This probably is the premise of nunnery

 "... If it is an ordinary case, the blood of bulls and goats will suffice; but if it is an extraordinary case, the blood of some innocent virgin or child must flow; and WHEN THE GOD SMELLS THE BLOOD, his wrath is appeased GCDB February 12,  1897, page 14.3. 

"The flagellants were a fanatical sect which arose in Italy, AD. 1260, who maintained that flagellation was of equal virtue with baptism and the sacrament. They walked in procession with shoulders bare, and whipped themselves till the blood ran down their bodies, to obtain the mercy of God, and appease his wrath against the vices of the age. NWAD FLAGELLANT.2

"...Thus arose the great hordes of monks and hermits among the heathen, and later among the professed Christians, who borrowed their ideas of God from the heathen"- PTUK September 21,  1893, page 387.5

2. Persecution.

 While self sacrifice and self mutilation inflicted suffering  directly to the offerer, the easier way was to sacrifice someone else.  This pagan view of God leads men to punish themselves by inflicting pain to their fellows.. "....Sometimes this idea of PROPITIATING THE WRATH OF GOD has taken an easier form,-that is, easier for the worshippers. 👉🏼INSTEAD OF SACRIFICING THEMSELVES, Sacrifices have always been to a greater or lesser extent connected with heathenism. Men shudder as they read of the human sacrifices offered by the ancient inhabitants of Mexico and Peru, and by the Druids; but professed (not real) Christianity has ITS AWFUL LIST. Even so-called Christian England has made hundreds of burnt offerings of men, for the purpose of turning away the wrath of God from the country. 👉 Wherever there is religious persecution to any degree, it springs FROM THE MISTAKEN IDEA THAT GOD DEMANDS A VICTIM. 👈 This is shown by the words of Christ to His disciples: “The time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” John 16:2. All such worship has been devil worship, and not worship of the true God.. PTUK September 21,  1893, page 387.7

 As you reflect on that more deeper , you would realize that framing Christ's death as PROPITIATING GOD, is human sacrifice in the garp of  Christianity. It so easier to sacrifice someone else instead of self. And so we said , God is smiting him on my stead. It is manifestation kf pretended zeal for righteousness by persecuting those who  don't appreciate our ideas nor accept our forms of religion. 

"It is no part of Christ's mission to compel men to receive Him. It Is Satan, and MEN ACTUATED BY HIS SPIRIT, that seek to compel the conscience. UNDER A PRETENSE of zeal for righteousness, men who are confederate with evil angels bring SUFFERING UPON THEIR FELLOW MEN, in order to convert them to their ideas of religion; but Christ is ever showing mercy, ever seeking to win by the revealing of His love." DA 487.3

Thi is done to gain favor with God who we think has been  wounded by some wrong. That is why James and his brother  thought  to Call fire and destroy the Samaritan. Devil worshipping is more than sacrificing family and friends to gain wealth and popularity. IT IS A  WILLFUL MANIFESTATION OF SATAN'S SPIRIT AND FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM. 

"...There can be no more conclusive evidence that we POSSESS THE SPIRIT OF SATAN than the disposition TO HURT AND DESTROY those who do not appreciate our work, or who act contrary to our ideas."- DA 487.3

 All these is as one author  say "a history of the attempts of men TO DEVISE some sacrifice that would "appease the DIVINE JUSTICE, and CONCILIATE THE DIVINE FAVOUR."  PTUK November 9,  1893, page 500.13

 There is those who hide behind '' divine justice ", reasoning like ,"  It is not God but divine justice.a nd the Law as if they are inherently on their own requiring death. Justice and the executor of it are inseparable.

: The author continue to says ,"Men have PUNISHED THEMSELVES ALMOST TO DEATH, and have PERSECUTED OTHERS QUITE TO DEATH, because they thought that GOD DEMANDED IT of them as the PRICE OF HIS FAVOUR. This is the human idea of propitiation, but it is not God's. PTUK November 9,  1893, page 500.13

3. Exploitation of the Faithful by the clergy. 

Sometimes this appeasement is in the  *SHAPE OF PROPERTY, but often it is of the person*. Thus arose the great hordes of monks and hermits among the heathen, and later among the professed Christians, who borrowed their ideas of God from the heathen. Using that premise of regaining favors with God , the clergy places heavy weights upon the. Faithful which they  themselves would not carry. "...Conscientious souls are KEPT IN CONSTANT TERROR, FEARING THE WRATH OF AN OFFENDED God, while the dignitaries of the church are living in LUXURY AND SENSUAL PLEASURE. 4SP 384.2

"...So successful has he been, that 👉 the mass of mankind regard God AS STERN AND UNSYMPATHETIC, a being who regards man with a coldly critical eye, and who would much rather destroy than save. - PTUK September 21,  1893, page 387.4

To the extended that God is seen He wouldn't be " ...MOLLIFIED WITHOUT SEEING BLOOD FLOW, but that it made no difference to Him whose blood it was, if only somebody was killed; and that since Christ’s life was worth more than the lives of all men, *He accepted Him as a substitute for them.*  👉🏼This is almost a brutal way of stating the case, but it is the only way that the case can be truly presented. The heathen conception of God is a brutal one, as dishonouring to God as it is discouraging to man; and this heathen *idea has been allowed to colour too many texts of Scripture.* It is sad to think how greatly men who really loved the Lord, have given occasion to His enemies to blaspheme.. To all trembling sinners who  need assurance that they would be accepted and forgiven by God we make this clarion call: "God is just as loving and gracious as His Son; just as willing to forgive and heal." God is just as loving and gracious as His Son; just as willing to forgive and heal." - Graham Maxwell ,The Conversations about God. 

"...The enmity that IS TO BE APPEASED is all ON THE PART OF MEN, and God, who is sinned against, provides the MEANS OF RECONCILIATION.- PTUK November 9,  1893, page 501.

It is us dear reader who required the death of Christ. It is you and me who are soothed by the cruelty and ignomity of Christ' death .Our legal idea of Justice demands inflicting pain to the criminal and that is how we see God must be to be just. This is actually what we would do if we were to be God. So we clothe him with our Character. And so Christ was given to us ( our idea of Justice. )  When he was given unto us , what did we do and say ?

 John 19:7

[7]The Jews answered him, WE HAVE A LAW, and BY OUR LAW HE OUGHT TO DIE, because he made himself the Son of God.

This is the corperate human attitude towards Christ.

[50]... that it is expedient for us, that one man should die that the whole nation perish not.
